PRESENTATION: This bike was designed for day trips, between roads and paths. Its owner, tired of standard bikes, wanted a versatile bike, allowing him to be comfortable on different terrains. The choice of transmission fell on the Shimano GRX group, gravel type, allowing him to open up his practice, thanks to a significant development range. He wanted to add a touch that was both functional and elegant, with the installation of these stainless steel mudguards, painted in the colors of the bike. These mudguards are manufactured by the Berthoud factory, based in Burgundy. The geometry, tailor-made, as for each Avalanche bike, allows it to rack up kilometers without pain or discomfort, but without losing responsiveness and nervousness, thanks to the use of Columbus HSS Spirit steel tubes, here in large diameters. A large part of the cables and hoses pass inside the frame, allowing a pure and elegant visual result, and giving them better protection, and therefore better durability.

Finally, the painting was done in-house, as for each of our bikes. Its owner wanted a fairly classic paint job, in a plain and lively tone, but also a beautiful visual coherence across the entire machine. This is why the seat post, stem and mudguards were also painted. Graphic details have been added for this Ancient Egypt enthusiast, with hieroglyphs whose meaning is very personal to him.
