AVALANCHE ROAD - TITANE - BEST ROAD BIKE -BESPOKED 2024

PRESENTATION : We exhibited this titanium road bike at the Bespoked 2024 show in Dresden, Germany. Much to our delight, the bike won the Best Road Bike award at the show.

Our intention was to present a lightweight, streamlined bike with all the hallmarks of Avalanche titanium bikes. It features Avalanche dropouts designed specifically for each model, as well as our seat tube/top tube/chainstay connectors that include an invisible seatpost clamp.

To emphasize the bike's sleek lines, we chose a fully integrated assembly method that eliminates all wrapping. Not wanting to be restricted to a limited choice of headset, we developed our own expander that allows tubes to be routed inside the fork steerer. We don't want to lock our bikes into overly restrictive standards, so this process allows our customers to choose any headset and still benefit from a wide range of choices. It also allows us to introduce the new Avalanche titanium stem, designed for a 46mm stem.

All components of this bike have been chosen to combine lightness and performance. The wheels, handlebars and saddle are from Tune. Made in Germany, we love the quality of these products offered by a brand on a human scale. We were lucky to get the latest Sram Red road groupset for this bike. Always convinced of the quality of their products, this latest groupset has completely redesigned levers that increase the braking power when the hands are on the levers. The silver finish of the calipers was also a pleasant surprise, perfectly matching the mirror finish of this bike.

A perfect introduction into the bike's finish. You're starting to get the idea that we don't leave our titanium bikes sadly sandblasted and colorless to contrast with the brushed titanium. That's why the front of the bike is painted a blue that we "cooked up" specifically to get that blue hue and those slightly purple reflections. The motifs used to create this blue are not new to the world of bicycles, but we wanted to give it our own personality and uniqueness. This subtle tone-on-tone topography offers a dreamlike, imaginary and personal map. It contains GPS coordinates of places that are dear to us, but also numbers that speak to us. So don't be surprised to find "Montreuil Peak," "Pigeon Lake," or "La Seine.
