THE
PROJECT

Each Avalanche project starts with an open discussion between you and us. This dialogue is very important, because it will allow you to get to know us, and will allow us to understand what you aspire to. We’ll be able to design a first bike as well as a first quote.We’ll be glad to respond to any questions and needs of clarification you may have. We’ll be more than happy to explain to you how we work. If you also want to come and see the workshop, you will be very welcome.

BESPOKED.

Your bike is tailor-made. In order to precisely design your future bike, you will be provided with a precise document (body measurements, cycling goals, personal requirements…). The bike needs to work for you, both functionally and aesthetically. For that, we need to know the purpose of the bike, create a design that fits you, with the appropriate materials and components. If you wish to do a more complete bike fit, we can direct you to parisian adresses that we trust.

THE BIKE FITTING

We will organize and book you a fitness session directly in our workshop.
We will take full body measurements, discuss any riding discomfort you may have and fit you on the static bike jig to find your optimal riding position, this position will serve as the framework for your bike design.
We will take the time that will be necessary to modify, adjust or test all the adjustments that will be necessary, so that you feel perfectly well.
If you already have measurements from a postural study. We can use them.

MANUFACTURING AND ASSEMBLY

Once the geometry has been validated, but also the tubes and options (internal cable routing, disc brakes or calipers…), wa can start manufacturing your bike. When we start your build, we’ll let you know, and we’ll share pictures during the progress.
The choice and the assembly of the components is also an important part. Many configurations are allowed. We are committed to work with brands recognised for the seriousness of their know-how, which have chosen to produce locally. That’s why it’s likely that we’ll prioritise these.

FINISHING AND PAINTING

We do the paint job in house. We do wet spray finish, which offer a wide range of possibilities and renderings. Our « basic option » includes one main colour for the frame and a second one for details and markings. The paint work can also go much further, and we can develop a specific project according to your desires.
